Ef melo ep 4: Cute and sad

1 sentence summary: Kuze rejects Mizuki yet again while Nagi gets jealous when she thinks that Yu and Yuuko went on a date.

Conspiracy theory coming: (this is a good one)

What if: Yu’s watch doesn’t really belong to Akane? See, Akane wasn’t Yu’s blood related sister, but he doesn’t know it. He also doesn’t know that she loved him because he liked the girl living next door named Yuuko. Then, on the night of the earthquake, Yuuko ran over to Yu’s house to try ad help him, but then got caught up in the fire. Akane was saved, but all that was left of Yuuko was a tattered watch which was picked up by Yu. Yu, so shocked by the death of the two girls and not knowing that Akane was alive, lost his memories. Akane, wanting a chance to love him, arrived at the orphanage and told him that her name was Yuuko…

I wish that they would actually publish the manga that Hiro’s drawing. If they can do it for Genshiken, they can do it for Ef!

I don’t think that the way their relationship is moving seems right. it’s charging on too fast, and I can’t seem to understand why Kuze would let himself tell Mizuki that he loves her.

While it’s clear that the professor cares about Yuuko, I wonder if he even realizes that she’s not his real sister. Of course, the biggest question is still about who, or what Yuuki is. Perhaps she’s a spirit that was born from the wishes of the dead?

Nagi seems to be good friends with Miyako. No wonder, they both fell in love with clueless guys that caused them endless grief.
