Kimi ga te wo noba su sakini (+lyrics)

君が手を伸ばす先に, Kimi ga te wo noba su sakini (when you reach out with your hand), by Fujita Maiko, is an absolutely beautiful song about a girl in love. It is also the opening to the otome game 緋色の欠片. I have never played the game (otome games aren’t my thing, ironically), but I fell in love with this song the first time that I heard it. Fujita Maiko’s voice is amazing.

The icy air covered the night sky, the rain turned into hail and snow.

Why did the person I love have someone beside him already?
Even though I know that hoping to be with you is an illusion,

Close to first impressions

Close to is a pretty old game by KID (who brought us the fantastic infinity series, including ever17), and after reading four 10 page long recommendations from various forums and sites, I’ve decided to give it a go. I mean, the art is by Goto-P, and it’s rated as one of KID’s three classic games, it HAS to be good.
