Notice anything weird? If you hadn’t let me tell you, the LEGS. See, CG artists spend their time and effort on the upper half of a girl when it comes to these paperdolls. In so many instances, the legs are suffering from negligence! This shrunken legs phenomenon can be seen in most visual novels today, and it’s an ugly smear on an artist’s beautiful record. Seriously, they pay so much attention to the legs in h-scenes too, this is so ironic.
However, other than that, moshiraba has gorgeous art. You can totally tell that the backgrounds are photoshopped photos, but they still look really nice. And the characters look adorable too. There’s a good bit of animation, like musical notes floating when a character is humming, or hearts when they are happy, or a puff when they are sighing, or a throbbing vein when they are angry. The characters are totally lovable both story wise and visually. This is going to be a good one, I KNOW it.
Wah, I feel like I’m spamming the blog…orz

i googled もしも明日が晴れならば
m(_ _)m
I’m glad you’re enjoying it.
Ah, found the full translation patch at last
Thanks for the heads-up, Choux
photoshopped photo?
hmm… i’d like to see how they’re done actually. the backgrounds i mean.
Like this.
what is this i dont even.
wow, I honestly didn’t think that was even possible. that really IS a quick way out.
to think I spent all those hours painting and quit on…
well, once college starts we’ll have to paint by hand anyway…
but yeah, if someone can translate those for me, that’d be lovely. I’d like to know what exactly was done each step.
Things are pretty much ALL done like that. That’s why you can go and visit the towns that animes are based on. Mahō Tsukai ni Taisetsu na Koto was especially apparant in its backgrounds, but just think, with ALL of Kyoani’s works, the backgrounds are based on real locations. The ability to paint is still important, but the purpose of photos is basically a source for ideas and lightning direction. You’d have to be really good at painting by hand before trying to go through a photo.
I don’t know zip about Japanese, so can’t help you with translations. But I think it pretty much speaks for itself (erasing unwanted characters, adjusting lightning focus, etc, etc).
