Some time ago, I used to find it odd when a person doesn’t finish all the endings in a visual novel. They’d talk about how a certain girl is just so hot/sweet/insert-whatever-here that the rest of the stories doesn’t really matter. I didn’t feel that kind of attraction for specific characters and just went ahead and completed all endings. However, this has changed with Asuseka, where I was distracted, DISTRACTED from the cute little romance by worrying about Yuuhi. Well, there have been other instances where one character captures all my attention, but they are usually A: a side character without their own story or B: part of the true ending, in which case it doesn’t matter if I don’t care about the rest of the characters any more.

Maybe it’s just because I always root for imoutos.

This is one of those stories where EVERY SINGLE TIME the 2 people are alone together they get interrupted by someone/something. And so-WHOA THE GUY ACTUALLY DECIDED TO FINISH WRITING THE NEXT VOLUME OF THE HARUHI NOVEL!

Haruhi attorny

This is, 凉宫春日の逆转, AKA what would have happened if Ace attorney was made with Haruhi as the greatest lawyer ever.

The short doujin game follows 3 separate events in which Haruhi has to use her detective and reasoning skills to solve a crime. The first event is when Mikuru’s maid outfit was stolen and Kyon was blamed; the second event is when Mikuru loses her memories of an afternoon and everyone tries to find out what happened; and the last event is when Haruhi was seen with cigarettes and the student body president wants to find her guilty for smoking on campus.

Needless to say this is endlessly interesting, with the story progressing as you question witnesses and collect evidence. The game makers even ripped voices from the anime with Haruhi saying “I’ve got it!” and “Objection!”. The music is very well done, some of which are remixes of anime tracks. Now, excuse me as I stop writing this post. I still haven’t found out how Haruhi is going to get out of trouble with the cigarettes!

10 minutes in and I’m already cracking up, mostly because the writers understand that this is a spin off and uses that to its full potential. Because this is a bishoujo game, the male lead has a sizable harem, and by the time anotherdays came around he’s already infamous for it and it’s the root for many hilarious jokes.

I’m going to start with Harumi (the girl above) because I like to start out with the girls with the least potential. I’ve pretty much given up on this one because she’s a clingy airhead with a bust no high school girl should have.

This is going to be so much better than tears to tiara. Especially the art. Have you SEEN how pretty the art for this game is? It’s BEAUTIFUL.

A frightening combination

I was just sorting through the c74 doujins while taking a break from Fate/stay night (pretty much everything has came out now so I might as well), of course, when I saw this I couldn’t resist the idea of showing everyone. This is pretty much the only doujin that has Kyon in it, though there are a considerable amount of Kyonko doujins…

Of course, what’s Lelouch if Rollo isn’t there? I’m having a lot of fun trying to imagine your expressions right now…

A new theme

Well, there was some problems… Ohh, but first, I’ve scheduled 2 posts to come up within a few hours, as my computer died completely and I know that I won’t be able to get it back up within a few days. AAANNNNNDDDDDD…… I just got my deluxe edition of Remember11!!!!! *Squeals*
