It’s hard to fangirl over anything

I remember the good old days, when I was 12 and falling in love with gundam seed (not your average fangirl, I know). Liking a series was so easy back then. Now, I’ll like series, but I won’t go into a fangirling frenzy that easily.

Then I watched the second episode of Tora Dora.

The first time I watched the first episode, I stopped it after the drunk mother showed up, thinking that I wouldn’t like it. Later, at the recommendations of a friend (that’s you, Alice-hime!) and half the blogosphere, I watched the entire first episode and thought it was okay.

But the second episode had me squealing. Actually squealing. It was just SO CUTE! Ever since Zero no tsukaima I’ve had this thing against tsunderes who are physically abusive, but for some reason the chemistry between Taiga and Ryuugi was fantastic and very refreshing.

P.S. : Kitamura reminds me of every single eroge lead I’ve ever seen… for some odd reason…

I should have seen this coming

Pretty much nothing would come out of Tamaki realizing that he loves Haruhi. ARGH! I was looking forward to more drama!  Now that the 2 of them loves each other but won’t tell the other for various reasons, I’m getting REALLY frustrated (I’m getting S.A. vibes here). Of course, along with that frustration comes my curiosity at the small cliffhanger at the end of the chapter. Just what is Tamaki’s father hiding? April, please come faster!

If you’re wondering why I’m posting so much, it’s because I got sick right before spring break and cancelled the things I was going to do, so now I’m feeling better but incrediably bored.

What the hell were they thinking?

Nanako’s a loli, that’s fine, I have no problems with that.

But what the hell were thinking, making her into a loli who literally wears diapers with a whiny voice (which reminds me of Kurihara Touko WAAAAY too much) and a complex about having no chest?!?! That’s just no right!

Not only that, Nanako’s story was BORING. Nothing happened aside from a bunch of angst from the aforementioned bust complex and Takaki feeling guilty about being a lolicon. Well, screw that, I don’t care about what he feels! Most people who’ve played this game want to kill him for Haruhi’s sake! And who cares about her bust size? She’s what? 12? Not only should she not be concerned about her chest, she has no business being inside an eroge!

I’m very disappointed with the writers at Leaf right now. Not only as a person who want to enjoy their game, but as a girl who believes in pride for her half of the human race.
