Because its a well put together machine and we get more miles to the gallon with the Focus than we did with our Jeep.
LOVED the Jeep, but with gas prices the way they are, we needed a vehicle that would give us more than 17 miles to the gallon.
Oh and we got two grand knocked off the price, since his dad used to work for Ford and has A plan.
Their cars are expensive, but you get what you pay for I guess, its a good quality machine. If he could afford it, hubby wouldn’t mind a Ford Flex, or even the new Explorer.
Our SUPER old Explorer is still going. Which is more than we can say for the piece of crap Nitro we traded in for our Jeep. The Nitro started falling apart literally months after we got it.
He looked at a Honda, but it wouldn’t have fit his hockey gear in it. Other cars in the same size range as the Focus for some reason aren’t as spacious in the back.
Not sure why you consider them a fraud. I can honestly say my own parents have always bought Fords. They rarely if ever needed to go to the shop to be fixed and never needed much upkeep.
A student at work also works part time in a garage and says the same thing, they rarely see a Ford through their doors needing fixed. But they see a lot of GM vehicles and a lot of Chrysler vehicles come through, with the except of Jeeps, which seem to last pretty well.
Which makes sense to me, since our Jeeps lasted us a long time.
Besides hubby is pretty happy with his gadgets, the touch screen is pretty neat and we do like the sync feature.
LAWL! It’s just epic, I personally would be too embarrassed to do that, but go him for the courage.
2nd, since you brought Sheryl Nome up, I am actually planning to attend May’n (singing voice of Sheryl)’s concert in 2 weeks. It’s on May 27th. Now to really go get my ticket…
Hubby is a hero!
I read hubby your comment, he looked very smug 🙂
Now to decorate the rest of the car, particularly the exterior… =D
@ Aorii, if we had the money, he’d probably totally do it, I should post pics of his goalie mask, which also sports Sheryl…
Goalie mask? I demand to see it! lol
Yep goalie mask 🙂 I will dig up the pictures 🙂
Why would you own the Ford Fuckedus, I mean, the Focus, brought to you by the Fraud *cough* Ford Motor Company?

i love ford F150. They pull our 5th wheeler
🙂 Glad someone is a fan. They make quality machines. My parents have driven a Ford their entire lives, never had a problem with them.
And I’m not paid to say they are great!
